Dual 2 or dual 4

I am planning on ordering 4 sundown sa-8 v2 subs for my Silverado crew cab. I am gonna build a box for them that will be 2.2 net cubes, maybe a little more, and with at least 32 square inches of port area.

I am wandering if since I am going to be using a crescendo bc2000, should I get 4 dual 4 subs and wire them to .5 ohms or 4 dual 2 and wise them to 1 ohm?

I have done the big 3 in 1/0, have a stinger spp1500d, and have all wiring in 1/0. I will also be buying a new alt here soon.

for daily i personally wouldnt do .5 id go with 1 ohm

If you have a powerfull alternator and enough currents in general go with 0.5ohm!

I have seen setups (daily music) with the subs wired on 0.25ohms on each amplifier...

The reason why everyone is saying to wire to 1 ohm is becuase if you're asking, then you lack the experience and knowledge. And if you lack the experience and knowledge, then you don't know when to dial it back, tone it down, or let it rest when pushing equipment to their mechanical and thermal limits. Want to run it the way it is supposed to be run? Wire to 1 ohm. Want to be ballsy and stupid, wire to .5 ohm. A lot of people get away with it. It's your system. I am in agreement with everyone else though, wire to 1 ohm.

I would wire it too 1ohm personaly, unless you want to spend some more money to beef up you electrical.
