redrider
well recently decided to go on a limb and see if i could get any type of sponsorship for my truck and ended up with a small deal with cadence audio, so figured it was time to get out with the old and bring in the new slowly. first off here is the truck..... the old system.... 2 12" kicker L5 running off a directed audio 2400 mono amp and the box was built by me(first attempt at glass work) the doors did have sony 3-ways in them but upgraded them to a component set from Cadence audio..... have plans to move the crossover(tight fit but works for now) now onto the new subs.... picked up a pair of the new cadence s2w8s 8" subwoofers and they will be powered by a cadence amp, the csa5000.1 mono amp running at 1200w x 1 @ 1 ohm the box is a customed glassed box built by me. i will be around 2.1 cubes and be tuned @ 35 hz with one 4" port here is the progress on the box so far so far the box has 2 layers of resin only on the outside and the inside has 1 layer of resin only and 2 layers of resin with glass.... i plan on laying down at least 6 layers on the inside and then 1 layer on the outside where it is needed. audio setup HU: sony Amps: cadence csa5000.1(running at 1 ohm 1200w x 1) Subs: pair of cadence s2w8-s2 Doors: cadence zrs65k's component set Box: customed glassed box tuned @ 35 hz with one 4" port....built by me Underhood: powerbastards.com H/O 200 amp alt, big 3 upgrade(4 awg) and optima red top battery Wiring: SQ audio 0 awg amp kit Cadence Sponsored build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/133648-96-s10-cadence-audio-build/page__hl__cadence

It be cool to see what you do with them thanks and thats what i figured from reading a bit on this forum. i am looking forward myself to see what these 8s can do. hopefully tomorrow i will have some updated pics of some body work done or at least a test fit picture since the box has some shape now. audio setup HU: sony Amps: cadence csa5000.1(running at 1 ohm 1200w x 1) Subs: pair of cadence s2w8-s2 Doors: cadence zrs65k's component set Box: customed glassed box tuned @ 35 hz with one 4" port....built by me Underhood: powerbastards.com H/O 200 amp alt, big 3 upgrade(4 awg) and optima red top battery Wiring: SQ audio 0 awg amp kit Cadence Sponsored build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/133648-96-s10-cadence-audio-build/page__hl__cadence
Blue
Nice start. The only thing I would do is add some fiberglass to the edges where the fleece and the wood meet on the inside. Just to add a little strength to the area. But overall looking nice. Now have fun sanding. formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive this sux camel dicks
