150 dbs on sony xplod subs, can it be done????

4 years ago i ran a 1990 crx with 4 sony 12s wired to a old silver case memphis st1000d.. ported box with 3 4" aeros..tuned at 32hz and they lasted for 8 or 9 months.. didnt like anything below 28hz tho but from the 30 to 40hz range they killed..

i just wish crx's around here could be found that rust free lol

Now that´s a great input bro, i haven´t tested playing low just yet, i´m doing it next week tho, but it´s great to know that they have taken the abuse before hehe, about the car, the owner was lucky enough to buy the car on that shape for less than 3K , he only had to fix the A/C and that´s about it

Holy shit those xplod's got higher numbers than my 555's, only hit a 146.7 in a prefab box in my shitty small car, I could be hittin like 152's if i had the right box and vehicle.

It´s cool bro, i mean, this isn´t a daily box at all, at least not around there, but the best part of the build is that the owner of the car only listen to rock music, merengue,salsa and dance, all of them are high frequencies, the car is NASTY on the music he likes, the subs can take lots of abuse without any problems, we are very happy with the results so far

Thanks to you for the input bro, glad you like it, i´m gonna be updating this topic for sure, after we are done playing around with the xplod subs, we might install some sexy DD 9510´s , we´ll see hehe
