air noise help

I just finished my box for 3 p3 10s in my cavalier facing in the cabin. The box is just under 4ft^3 and I have 2 3in round ports tuned around 35hz. when it hits some notes there is alot of air noise and I was woundering how to tell if its the port or because the trunk isnt sealed from the cabin???

I checked with the data you provided and this comes up:

Port Area/Vb = 3.5

Needs to be about 9, before making a box get some opinions first.

You need to recalculate your port and modify the box.

It needs more port for sure. Also check that there is no air leaking from sub cutouts.

anything to make the ports wider will be very hard because I built the box in the trunk and all of the leaks are fixed
