727Designs
Having trouble finding more info on these. Anyone tried them? I'm looking for some reviews and have yet to find much of anything. $100 seems hard to beat, but would like to have heard atleast a little more about them before I order them. Needing something to hold me over till I glass the doors on my Ranger. Installed that one in a team mate's ride and was very happy with them. Got quite loud and had decent midbass. For a hundo I'd take a chance on them... 727Designs
Thanks for the input, your last sentence is pretty well my thoughts on the whole deal but would like to find atleast a little more info on them. Can't seem to find anything. Seems like I may just have to go in blind and see what I think. KMS
I'd stay away imo. The owner doesn't seem to care enough to put more specs on the site so why even bother buying them if it's on a hunch? I was going to grab a pair but went with some maximos and couldn't be happier. Nice midbass and sound clarity. Quote Alpine PDX-V9 Morel Tempo 6 Alpine SBR-S8-4 Alpine CDE 149BT

rogue
Did the old $200 dollar set they used to carry in a buddies car and was not thrilled with the midbass. Tweets werent bad though. Dont know how this $100 pair compares. DD also has a set now for $100, want to try em but I question how much $100 is really gonna buy me. neuspeedescort
other then the adjustable tweeter db they seem to the be the same as the DD CS6.5's. i have installed 5 sets of the DD's in the last year and not one customer has been disappointed nor have i. i ran them in my daily for about 6 months. great midbass and love power. i ran around 120 rms to them and as long as i had my crossover set to 100hz and above they never bottomed out. I just ordered them and haven't received them yet. Do they get loud? and for the money, do they sound pretty good?
