3 dd3515s in a trunk!!

my tempt of doing 3 15s has begun. these are older 2004 model 15s. there will be 3 in trunk firing up as well as the port firing up. there wheel well will be fiber-glassed as part of the box. box will be about 9 cubes with aero ports. going to play with it and see what is best but for now tunning it at 33 hrz with 10 inch home made areo port. so far i have the subs, wire, and 3 1000cca batteries. will be doing all picture i can. sorry if any thanks this is dumb or retarded but i plan to do it anyway. dont really care how loud it is but would like to see up 140s and maybe close to 150 mark. now alot testing will be done on term lab to get it there but will happen thanks and enjoy.

oh fyi this is budget build.

wire is ofc qpower first roll of 50 and 20 terminals 90 bucks.

nest to stinger zero gauge.

1st dd3515 daul 2 ohm traded 13 feet of kicker zero gauge for it.

the other 2 will be here thursday night as well as 2 solid audio 1200 mono for now temp amps.

here is my car i am working with. trunk is 16 cubes so i got room.

1000cca battery in the finder replacing the 525cca one. had do some modding but its in there and alot better.

that is big 3 done with pure copper 4 gauge. old stuff back in 2004 my brother bought

the trunk with old box still in it. cant wait to rip that baby out!! its double layer birch on top back and front 4.6 cubes.

also like to add so far added up only spent 700 dollars. not bad for 2k on 3 15 dds

them DD's will still keep up with the subs today trust, they will get loud

tune higher. no need to tune to 33. tune to 35-36-37.

It will keep your port length down which if you are going to have 17 or 18 inches per cube like they will want you'll need it. 3 15s at 4.25 cubes per specs in a trunk is gonna be a tight fit.

ya still got do some measuring on some stuff. my other idea was 2 6 inch and the back sub in middle and port on each side. 8 or 6 inch port that i can change out to find my best tuning. as far tuning high i really don't want to from testing i can get louder with the lows than high. there is secret guy help me with that if tune low in like band pass box i can get just as loud and be able to do music classes. he been doing spl for 20 plus years so he kind my guide on most of my stuff.

well an update doing 2 15s instead of 3 reason being to much work and idk how will turn out but will be doing similar build as i did my 147.7 on dash with.

subs still setting in corner wait for other to join them soon.

got the cd player wire up and ready to go in as soon as i get my face plate

hoping to get the subs thursday night and i will be starting tear down tomorrow and box buld also here what kind look like when done.

this build just got alot more intersting lol just picked up audiobahn a5000spl amp for 150 works find. will go good with nice clean build i plan to do.
