What do you normally set your phase too?

Looks like I get to break out my trusty SMD Distortion Detector DD-1 again :asskiss:

tune one amp with that, then use a DMM to gain match the second amp. then strap them together. thats how i always did it. except without a dd-1

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

Hmm never used a Multimeter, any tutorial suggestions on what to do in this scenario?

pretty simple. set gain with dd-1 on one amp. remove dd-1. put DMM on AC voltage where the dd-1 was hooked up to and play the same tone at the same volume. write down the dmm reading. now put the DMM to the second amp and turn the gain until you get exactly the same number as the 1st amp. same volume and tone again.

If you have a slave and a master, no need to set the gain on the slave amp, only on the master. That's what I always thought. I did it with 2 Sundown saz 1000 and it works great for 2 years.

black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp

OEM head unit, Amplifiers Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200.

Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats.

2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3  ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
