Daking
Good day all. I have an odd issue. On some bass notes there is no audio, just massive shaking. No deep audio tone, just a-lot of vibration. The whole truck shakes, windows rattle, mirror is violently shaking, but no audible bass. Most other bass hits strong and hard. Could this be a Sub-Sonic adjustment? 412 CVX
i think the polarity might be reversed on one sub. that means cancellation. Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid. Daking
whats your amp settings at? also welcome to the forum I have the "Bass" about a 25% up, and the lowest frequency (~30 I think..) This is an awesome forum, lots of reading and great topics. i think the polarity might be reversed on one sub. that means cancellation. Humm, let me re check the wiring. This was / is my first Dual Voice coil setup. I wired to archive a 1ohm load. would he not have the subsonic filter too low? where he can't hear anything but it shakes a lot.. I had the filter off, then to ~15herz. Playing below the tuning of your box? That's kinda of what I was thinking, but hoping not. I want DEEP pounding bass Box says " PORT/VENT TUNE FREQUENCY: 35 Hz" I forgot to add, I also have an MX-3 before the Sub-Amp. I've been adjusting the bass settings there. I'm going to by-pass that later and see if that helps. Thanks, everyone.
Schmidty0099
Playing below the tuning of your box? playing below the tuning of your box isnt going to cause that. the only thing tuning really does it make around that certain hz tone make it louder. my box is tuned @ 31 HZ and i can play 60's and 10hz perfectly fine still being able to hear the subs. nothing to do with it. js. Daking
Note, I did put poly-fill all around the sub box, not in the enclosure. Think If I add some poly-fill in the box, it may help?
