blkgp_03
I would go 1.5 cubes per sub tuned about 35hertz What are you looking for spl or sq? How big of a box can you build? Max dimensions to work with Edited February 14, 2012 by blkgp_03 Quote Clip city bitch, clip clip city bitch. 10's, 12's, 15's, goin up in flames bitch. fecupe2001
I´m actually building a box for a pair of old champion 12´s on an hifonics brz1200.1 this week, i´ve played with those subs a few times and they DEFINITELY love 1.6 cubic feet and a 4" aeroport on a single sub application, you could multiply that x2 on yours if you want, i always use 12-15% less with i go with 2 subs on the same chamber, in other words, something like 2.8 c/f and single 6" aeroport would be awesome, best thing about aeros is that you can change them very easily and have a port for comps and a port for daily Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Joe X
Ok, since you have no particular dimensions here is a design suggestion that seem to fit nicely in most cases: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 35.057 Hz Vb = 3.189 ft^3 Subwoofer Mounting = Flush Mounted External Height = 16 in External Width = 40 in External Depth = 16 in Port Width = 3 1/2 in Cut List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: Front = 35 3/4 x 14 1/2 Front Internal = 34 1/4 x 14 1/2 Back = 40 x 14 1/2 Left & Right Sides: Side 1 = 14 1/2 x 14 1/2 Side 2 = 15 1/4 x 14 1/2 Top & Bottom = 40 x 16 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 11 x 14 1/2 Extension = 11 1/4 x 14 1/2 Here is an assembly giude: Let me know any questions.
