MIKE-2U
my friend came to me with questions on a new amp, so i turn to you guys. He has 2 sealed Re audio SEX models IIRC they are each 600 watts rms. Anyone run these before ? should i have him stick to 1200watts rms ? he was looking at a Hifonics amp. Which is there better line of amps or any other suggestions ? thanks in advance Quote 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee LaredoPioneer AVH- 3200DVD2/0 Flex-A-Prene Welding Cable (2) Fully Loaded Fi Sp4's dual 1-------> My YouTube Channel <------- Needs more power those woofers will laugh at that turd

What ohm are you running that at ? any complaints ? I'm running my single SA-8 D4 in series at 2 ohm and I'm getting another and will be running at 1 ohm. So far NO complaints. Amp stays cool and is loud. Quote E34 540iT/

IBleedMusick
The Hifonics BRZ or AudioPipe AP/AQX amps are good budget amps when you need close to rated power on a budget. Hifonics
The BRZ/BXI lines from hifonics are great. They put out the power and stay very cold while doing it. I have a BXI2610D and I slam on it constantly... never gets hot. Just barely warm (I drive over 40 min to work and 40 min home pounding bass). I would recommend them. But tell your buddy if he plans on upgrading in the future, buy a bigger amp now for a few bucks more and that way he won't have to upgrade later. Planning ahead saves money.
