seriousgary Posted February 19, 2012 Author Report Posted February 19, 2012 my box builder told me that my box was built with Birch wood not MDF and its 2 times stronger than MDF wood and that the port is also acting like a brace

It might be ok but I would brace it up better and double that baffle just to be safe.
