mlstrass
i take it you havent played with any of these subs...... im looking for real life input ive talked to some of the manufactures but i wanted to see if anyone has tried a bp box with any of these subs before i go waste a 5gs on testing subs! buy one and then a different, and another different so it's a vs thread, wonder why it hasn't been closed. And the good manufacturers should have testing results on their subs in all types of enclosures....
bre2ts
i was told when i got my neos from a few people that they will work well in almost any box/tunning style. so i would have to assume they would work well in a 4th order Feedback 1 | Feedback 2 you win some, you lose some

audiofanaticz
I think that if your wanting to play with 1 18 and have that kind of power, your going to want a 4 inch coil driver. Two of the drivers from one company are are hard to find at times and people sell the motors alone for more than the other subs you mentioned cost. I also believe 1 is only a 3inch coil, while the other one can not be built by the company due to the patents on the baskets. Which can really make things to be a pita if you go that route. As for the box, you are going to be stuck building it in the trunk, if you use your back seats your going to want to port thru the rear deck. Otherwise that rearseat will severly screw you over no matter what type of woofer and power you use. Mlstrass knows a bit about the product he runs, he would be a wise person to listen to. As for running 1 amp daily @ .5 and 2 amps for comps strapped at 2ohm (1ohm per amp). You will not see to much more power from the pair since your going to have a Higher rise. You would possibly see a .2-.6db gain from 1 amp to 2 amps if you have the electrical to support that additional draw. As for your first post, edited to keep the thread open and not a vs thread.
