46panel Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 So I will be using my new 10 15" Obsidians and am debating how I want the lay out of the subs. I will either be doing 4 on each side firing at each other with the baffles being on an angle and then having two subs in the very back firing forward or just do 5 subs per baffle on each side. Obviously both I will make sure have the proper airspace. I would like to put the two in the very back just because I would like the looks of that but just what opinions, pros/cons? It's just I know twisted new build with the 6 15's has 4 on one side and then 2 in the back, and then jp's 10 18's is going to be like that but most designs like this I usually just see the subs on each side. But don't know if this design wouldnt be as good as just having them all on the side. I have the space to do whatever. OP give me some dimensions, i'd love to make a sketchup model of this. Well my tunnel will be pretty long. It is 59.5 deep, 30.5 tall, and 43.75 wide = 45.94 cubes then subtract .75 on each side for the amount of space the wheel wells took up on each side so 44.4 minus sub displacement which is 2 cubes so 42.4 then all bracing and baffle displacement (each baffle will be triple thick so 2.25") ill be right around 37-38 cubes. Planning on doing 15 sealed and whatever I end up with ported hopefully around 22ish.
