How do you really "strap" two amps togehter? Can any amp be strap together with another of the same kind?

it needs to have a phase shift control.... attach your RCS and othere wire

use the + speaker wire from one with the phase contal set to normal, and the otehr amp use teh postive and flip teh phase contral to 180

Doubles the power...For example if you were to strap two amps that do 2,000rms each you would then be getting 4,000rms using one amp basically.

I already know that strapping doubles power, but what happens if I wire the amps to their lowest impedance then strap them will that even double more power?

If you lower an amp and the lowest they can run is 1ohm @ 2500rms then by strapping you will be doing 5000rms @ 1ohm.

actually, 2 amps that are strapped and shown a 1 ohm load will see a 1/2 ohm load each.  Other than that you guys are on the money especially SPLGEO
