wiring accessories with no battery under the hood?

Recommended Posts

how would you wire up your accessories (fuse box, alternator, ecm etc....) under the hood with no battery up front?

this is how i had run my wires:

mechman 270a alternator (input)- fuse holder(175 amp fuse) - (output) one 0 awg wire to batteries in bed, fuse box, ecm, starter.

the 0 awg run to my bed has a 250a circuit breaker before the battery which i will replace with fuse instead. since i have a fuse and circuit breaker before the batteries, could that cause the batteries to be restricted?

my other option is to pick up a xs power d375 under the hood and the accessories to that along with the 0 awg to my rear batteries. the only reason i will be using a very small battery up front is because it is very tight under the hood and the only battery that could fit is the d375. let me know your suggestions and ideas.

well imo a small batt under the hood would be ok to run acc items. thats the way I would do it if you dont want to run shit to the bed all the time.
