It sounds DAMN good and it fits perfect in my car.

If i had a tahoe or an astrovan then sure id like it bigger but for what i have with my dimensions its nice and makes my roof flex

box is too small port area is too little. looks like a custom made prefab.

lots of hater kids here. Pay no attention, they just want 89,000 watt subs for 3.50
If you would have put a dc dustcap on it and called it lv your mom, they would all be in love

that's 11 square inches of port area... i don't care what alpine says, that's not enough port area. especially for their beefiest sub.

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

well at 1.5 inches it was tuned to something much higher, which is probably why you didn't like it. if the port was the right length to be tuned in the low 30's, i bet it would be louder. and the type X is beefier than the type R because of the simple fact that it's rated to take 1k rms, whereas the type R is only rated at about 600 iirc

a 33 inch port really isn't that long. there's a reason i charge for my designs...

but i guess that's not important at this point. glad you like your box OP. i guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

412 is right. your box is too small. port is too small.

when your port was bigger you were probably tuned retardely high, hence the shitty sound.

have a lot of potential to get louder with a better box.
