Would I be able to.use a optima blue top battery for my system? And would it be better than.going with a yellow top?

Only if you're gonna deep cycle. If it's steady connected to your alt then you should get a yellow top.

Iv gone thru three yellow tops in less than 5 years. Im just going with xs im thinkin esp for roughly the same price.
