Sub Specs

12"

Fs: 30.75

Qms: 6.759

Vas: 67.7

sd (m2): 0.0504

Qes: .692

Qts: 0.545

SPL: 87.2 1w-1m

rms: 500

Each sub will be getting 450w rms. According to manaul for manufacture, ideal box is 3.5ft^3 so i got that covered. One thing im not sure of is port area. Do i have enough of it? To Much? All in all would this box work well?

Thanks

you see those two ranges of numbers right above Port Area on the lower right hand side? yeah...you should be able to judge for yourself then

everything else looks good though

yeah you'll be fine

edit: i'd put some dowel rods or something in the box for bracing, just in case

If when you say: "each sub" you mean that the box is for more than one sub then your internal volume is wrong.

so after doing some more thinking how true is this?

The general rule of thumb is an EBP of 50 or less = a driver that is best used in a sealed enclosure. An EBP of 50 – 90 gives you flexible enclosure type options. An EBP of 90 or higher is best used in a ported enclosure.

This sub has EBP of 44. Should i stick it in a sealed box? Also the dimensions i used earlier were max i cant go any larger in fact i might have to decrease the depth by inch or 2.
