single sub for crescendo 5500

lvl 5 all day, if a 15" can handle 5000, i'd go with the 18" and do some damage and 16v ofcourse

5000 for burps no problem. But I would not put an underrated 5500 watt amp on a level 5 for daily use.

lvl5 can take up to 20k on burp.

They weren't mentioned due to OPs $500-$600 budget. All of those subs are pretty much at least double his budget. And IIRC the DDZ is an spl monster, not a daily beater.

As mentioned I would go for something with a 4" coil to thermally handle that kind of power. SP4, Tc5200, Tc5400, Crossfire xsv2, dc lvl 6, shockers just off the top of my head
