Recommended Posts

Pioneer deh2000mp headunit, was told to get a better deck with subwoofer controls)

0/2 from fron batt to rear hc600 4 guage to autotek mm 4000.1 1800 rms 8guage to autotek 1200.4

4 12s wired to 1 ohm in a custom ported enclosure tuned to 35hz in a trunk car

i have to crank my volume over 55 to get ahieve loudness , i get real bad dimming and voltage drop to 11.4 car on (when i took it to a shop and they turned up the gain( i had it turned back down )

the guy was going to leave to amp gain up as if it was safe but i thought that it would have caused damage . all they said was get a new deck

If we give you advice are you actually willing to take it? Or is this going to be another future 150 db trunk build thread?

Start out with some pictures of your grounds. If you are still grounded to your rear deck.... Well....

How did you fit 4 12s ported in the right amount of airspace? You got an 8+ cubic foot box in your trunk?

No i acutally i changed the ground as planned ill try to get a vid up , and the box is really pushing its limits but with the given use i feel it should be up for the job. i mean it sings in the high notes and really gets down low notes. i am open to all suggestions

origanlly i wanted to out do 4 15 cvrs in a pre fab boxes, had optima yelow tops for electrical thats in a van.

I have trunk car , i was suggested 1 15 and 1500 watt amp i got the amp but not the 15 this round. i was going to go with 18s walled but i want my rear window and that meant a half wall

if your deck is putting out a really low pre amp signal then you have to set gain high and its safe aslong as your not distorting but id just sell your stuff and buy some real equipment
