Pcm 270a alt @13v?

I have a mechman 270a pcm alt and.since its not charging at the normal 14+volts whats it do at the 12.8-13 volts it normally charges at? Any ideas?

mechman is going to delete this as soon as they see this

Probably the same. Just gonna take longer to charge your batts.

The alt doesn't control the voltage, the pcm does. Why not get a avbm, or a mla?

Then you can be at 14+ all day....

No, there's nothing wrong with your question.

It will still put out the 270a, but your PCM reduces the voltage to reduce the load on the vehicle for EPA fuel mileage ratings.
