dolarbilz
So I have a Dd s4b.four 6 inch drivers on rear two channel driven at 1.5ohm stereo per channel. Then on front channel I have four tweeters which are driven 1.5 ohm on front two channels.something happened were all my speakers went up on smoke. And amp channel read crazy ohm readings.with everything disconnected .being at 1.5 ohm per channel I thought be okay.could that be why all went up in smoke? OrionStang
Are the DD 4 channels rated for 1 ohm? I could see the ohm load frying the amp, but don't know why it would kill ALL the speakers with it. Damn, that sucks. dolarbilz
No there 2 ohm stable..but figure 1.5 would be okay.guess was wrong.but typically speakers never measure exactly 4 ohm give or take some. That's why thought be okay.
