I used them on every box I've built and they still work like the day I bought them. My thumb went through the saw, went to the hospital, 2 weeks with it in a wrap then back to the hospital because the tendons were not repairing themselves on their own so I had to have surgery followed by 4 more weeks in a wrap. Part of my thumb still doesn't have feeling and it has a lump from scar tissue. Moral of the story: Don't be stupid like me with power tools. Or use a table saw that isn't 25 years old and has no safety features. People need to hear stories like this to remember that these power tools aren't toys. I'm lucky to have had no serious injuries. Only bad incident was trying to loosen a keyed chuck on handheld drill. Chuck was super tight, and my hand slipped off the key. Raked my finger along edge of a spade bit in the drill, ripped my finger open. Blood everywhere, friend said my face went pretty pale, but somehow didn't need stiches.
