Most ab amps protect in the 16v range and get real hot no need to run past 14.4 on class AB amps ... if you know what you are doing ... Most ab amps protect in the 16v range and get real hot yup the IA we did recently was on a 14v battery set up and it worked great at 16.4 charging. then on the flip side of that we put the same amp on a set of hybrid audio in a tacoma and my sq guy actually liked the way it sounded. But did he say he would run that amp in competition ?? Like MECA or IASCA ??
