installed alt now I'm at 12.3v. please help

okay y'all dont be to mean but it wasn't plugged in all the way :) but NOW that it's plugged in I'm still only seeing 13.9 from idle up to 3000 rpm?

Completely normal. If your batteries are being recharged it will take a while to see that increase.

Put your battery on a low amp charge for a while, if the alt wasn't plugged in and charging you had drained the battery starting the vehicle, etc

I have the 3.4 as well but if that's all normal I'm sorry for the dumb post then guess I'm take it out and see what it can do and thanks for the quick answers and all of yalls help

I put the batteries on charge last night but I just went around the block and full tilt it sat at 14.1 and now that I'm parked it's at 14.3 now time to pull out the dd-1 and reset my gains to the amps full potential again thanks for all the help
