I just wanted the system batteries separated from the main battery so that the only things using the batteries in the rear is the system not my tvs or radio or anything else. rogue Posted April 21, 2012 Report Share Posted April 21, 2012 as soon as you turn the switch on the isolator is going to connect them together anyways so they will act as one battery and the whole car will be using them all at the same time. The isolator is to keep different batteries from discharging one another when the car is turned off.
