cmrs2k Posted December 13, 2007 Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 I hit higher SPL with my Diamond 12's on 2 JL 1000/1s than I did with 2 RE SX 15's on 2 Rockford T30001bds. Same vehicle. Same electrical system. Same everything except amps and subs. 150.6db vs. 149.7db We pulled a 149.3db on 2 Diamond D3 12's in the trunk of our Charger. (done on one T3K) I also pulled 153.2db on 2 AQ HD3 15's on 2 RF T30001bds. Very similar to the RE setup. My point, I wouldn't say Diamond is the best, but I would disagree with saying they suck. Coy Roberts (I hope I am spelling and remembering the name correctly) from Diamond Audio was one of the most helpful people that I have ever dealt with when designing the system with the Diamonds.
