95legwagon Posted March 17, 2012 Report Share Posted March 17, 2012 if your doing the gains by ear then i would say do what i do..... look up your preout voltage (its probably 2volt pre outs) then set your gain to as close to that number as possible.....but i wouldnt go over it i would stay a lil under. example: 2 volt preout = turn gain to 2 and if im not mistaken (which i could be) i think the higher the number on the gain setting ie: 0.2 up to 8 = 8 being the quietest and the least gain. 0.2 being the loudest , distortion causing gain that nobody wants and will destroy your subs...... i could have that backwards but im not sure cause i havent touched my gains since i put the sub/amp in my car and "tuned" it lol Quote i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
