Acceptable Voltage Drop At .5

Recommended Posts

your headunit sub level should be at +15 iirc and RCAs do not clip at/near full volume of 35

as your voltage drops you will clip the amp sooner, which is also what is happening.

basically you arent even running the amp full power at all, if you were... you would have more issues than "low 13s"

(n8 pioneers usually are clean full voltage at sub level 0 to +2)

I am an anti pioneer advocate so Im not familiar with them. If they cant be bothered to fix the pico fuse issue that would cost about two bucks to do I can't be bothered to run their stuff.

Im not sure sure id worry about it with 3-4 times the rated wattage on them. It was more of a for your knowledge type thing. You retune your amp now and you mgiht send a cone flyingh.

Yeah I'm really not worried about retuning right now as I doubt I'm.clipping and the subs are already getting more than enough power, when I upgrade in the future ill make sure to tune with a dd-1 though.
