daniel1204
I Have a SAZ-2500D And 4 12' Subs , They are all dual 4's 500w rms each, I can wire it to 2 or .5 ohms i want to give them rated they need 2000w Max Rms Power. My question is and i have asked this before but never got an answer. I know it isnt reccomended to wire and amp to .5 but i have a theory this is without box rise and any form of impediance rise, on the clamp test it put out about 3,300 at .25ohms. It it an equal amout of stran on the amp to have it wired to 1 ohm and push 2500w rms this is without box rise and any form of impediance rise, than to be wired to .5 and supply less than rated power it will have solid electrical and all that is needed just the gain will be adjusted accordingly. Another example would be Compare thr amp supplying 2500wrms at 1 ohm, Comared to the amp wired to 0.25ohm and only supplying 600wrms, Would i still be at risk of frying yhe amp even with solid electrical? If you dont understand ask some questions Thanks in advance i am serously confused. I Am Never Wrong, Just Often Mistaken......
bdog
you will be going out of warranty but that amp will handle .5 ohm no problem if you have good voltage . install a volt meter to make sure your not dipping under 12v and i believe that amp will do 3300 rms @ .85ohm @14v REP
Real96SS
Dude did your last topic not give you enough info? Everything you needed to know was in that topic. I have yet to hear anyone say that they have no box rise so get that out your head. Also if you need to ask if its okay to do something then its probably a smart thing not to do it. If you dont feel comfortable dont do it. Plain and simple!!! daniel1204
Nah sorry about the re post, And the reason i assumed no box rise was for the sake of the example i am given the understanding that the amp will proably never see the .5 ohm because of box rise and and other factors. Real96SS
Exactly so again and nicely.......Run them at .5 and as long as its good clean power(Set with DD-1 or O-scope) you will be okay. if your worried about blowing your subs or something else keep them at 2ohms for safety.
