Amart88 Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Well, I was starting to install some new rear shocks in my 06 pursuit (cobalt) and ended up snapping 5 out of my 8 wheel studs... . Anyhow, im getting all new ones today and was not sure how to replace them. Can't figure out how to get the old ones out as my car has rear drum brakes.. Cant just hit them with hammer as i dont have access to the back of the studs. Anyone know how to remove the drum brake cover so I can get these damn things out? Well just got the studs and realized the damn rims had tuner nuts on them cant get any spline ones until monday....... BeatBox Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 ANY LUCK? if you where closer id hook you up with new lugs for dirt cheap, if you happen to have a impact gun those would go on alot quicker make sure they are in all the way, impact or not they are usually a pain to replace Quote

Had to drive 1 hour to get them. 60 dollars!!! wtf... o well I got them now. and have 4 more than i need. The way i see it. if i can break my studs with an 18 inch tire iron with only my arms then I might as well replace them all at once to save me any hassle in the future. Thanks for the reply.
