Sub and Amp brands and Models for a small car audio store

Hello, I run a small car audio shop and been considering having some non mainstream brands like DC, IA, Sundown, Sound digital, AA, etc... for high end amps and subs. I didnt include DD in there as I am looking for some VFM brands with prices similar or lesser than the mainstream brands.

Since competition in my region for car audio is mostly Musical SPL and playing loud in open, I am looking for Subs that are capable of being loud and has good SQ as well. I have worked on RE, Kicker, JL, earthquake, Focal, DLS, Power acoustik etc...

what brand and model subs should i look for when I am considering Daily driven cars that can do 140 -150 db on music using single on dual subs? (10 inch, 12 inch,15 inches, 18 inches)

Which brand amps are the most reliable and capable with regards to the price point?

I dont have access to any of the brands mentioned in the beginning and I will have to decide purely based on the input here. Probably get a small quantity and try them out.

I had put this question in another forum and someone suggested me AA and Soundstream. I know sound stream is main stream but I see new lines of amps (x3).

Which brand amps and subs are the most reliable and capable with regards to the price point?

Maybe talk to AA, Digital Designs, Sundown, DC Audio, Incriminator Audio, etc. See what kind of prices you can get and what each company's availability and service is like. Maybe try and get a small order from each company and see what works and doesn't work for you in the most common setups you'll be working with.

Thanks guys. I was considering to pickup some small order but unless its a considerable chunk it wouldnt make sense with the shipping charges. I am not based in U.S

In this way I will end up paying more for the shipping than the actual product. So to avoid this extra expenses I was hoping to get some guidance.

Like mentioned, I have no interest in SPL only subs. I was merely looking around for a sub that can perform the following

eg - 15 inch sub with better performance than the S15L7.

For example if we put these x branded and L7 in their own respective Ideal box and power according to the rating. The X branded sub should be a bit louder and sound better. In this way I can offer better value for money.

So basically I am looking for find a match for SoloX, L7 and CVX.

Anyone who used these(Kicker) before and moved to another level or brand could really help.

I will collectively use the information while considering the brand.

What do you think about AA?

Will having AA sub line up be enough for Subs in all category compared to Kicker and RE in terms of price and performance for SPL and SQL.

I am not looking for Pure SQ subs.

Would you choose a AA sub if you have been given an option in between Kicker S15L7? Which model in AA would you choose in this case?

How about the Solo X 12? What can compare with it?

I am considering building a Demo car that can have either two 18s or four 12s of the brand I choose. Something that can do close to 150db on music.

I guess sound stream amps can fill up the gap for amplifiers since their new lines are pretty good in terms of price and performance. Even comparable to Planet audio and Hifonics, right?

the AA havoc is my daily driver woofer. Its a phenomenal woofer gets loud sounds good doing it. I would recommend it to anyone. Of course you cant go wrong with any of the brands you mentioned.

aa and fi are sister companies. FI is the internet base AA is storefront.

Dc is the forum boner woofer. there is a good reason though. They've got a good product at great prices and they have some of the best customer service in the business.

Sundown is the exact same thing. the only thing that hinders them is they dont have as many current lines as AA or DC. They are bringing out more lines in the very near future though.

This is why i said find out which one will cut you the best deal and go wit hthem. You wont be let down by any of them.

You have been very helpful! This is exactly the kind of info that I am looking for. Customer service is very important.

SMD forum has a dedicated AA section and I see members looking for a reply from AA and there is no response. This could be a problem for me.

If I decide a brand my requirements will be small like couple of subs or one in short notice. Until I am sure of establishing the brand in my region.

By your statement I think DC would be really awesome!

And your negative point about sundown is what i like about it. I basically get lost with all the line of products AA has.

So back to my important question since i want to compare, what model in DC, AA and Sundown would compare to Kicker S15L7.
