I love the way it lays but, I don't want to sacrifice my bed. I store a lot of crap in there plus my amps LOL. you can get bolt on notches now for s10s.. and as long as you dont get a Monster notch, you wont have to cut your bed as much as i did.. we can always get some metal and have it bent or cut and weld a cover to cover up the notch, but if you a hose you can take it off, and replace it.. still have full access to your bed.. and look nice.. i was going to to get trailer fenders and put on my mazda.. and then once i got the trailer fenders in and welded, i was going to build the notch cover.. but a guy offered my a nice chunk of change for the truck, and i sold it.. i didnt get to finish it..
