Second Skin Audio

Recommended Posts

So this is my first big build that I'm doing for my car and I was wondering about my options for sound deadening and what to actually sound deaden. In my build I've made plans to face my subs forward and I'm wondering if it's still a good idea to still do it along with the rear deck and maybe roof. Just looking for some ideas of how to go about.

Thanks.

Just what kirill said. You would want to hit the roof with Damplifier Pro or Alpha Damp (or other similarly strong CLD mat). The doors can be treated with a lesser product like Damplifier.

If you aren't sealing the cabin off, you would want to treat the rear deck, trunk lid, rear quarter panels, etc.
