If you are going by RF specs just note that they specify Vb as the gross volume (before any displacements).

Not to say you can't pick a larger volume.

Also if this is a standard L port design then you should set the "# of common walls" box to 3.

Ok I will cross check the Vb, I was going off of 1.25-1.5 as stated by someones opinion in another topic I made. Also thank you about the port walls, completely forgot about that. Also I would like to ask, when is the point where port are per foot gets to its limits. I know a lot of people say 15+ but when does it get to the point that it starts to add negative effects to your performance.

Edit: so with the Vb your saying there needs to be 2.8cu gross?

I have no idea why gross volume is important. i mean other than having a vague idea of how much airspace you need it's a pointless figure in my eyes.

net volume should be somewhere in the 2 cubic foot range depending on how much power they're getting.

They will be going on a HPN-500 @ 1 ohm

The necessary port area really depends on the subs, the port area per cube is only a rule of thumb, for those subs you are usingI would go for no more than 16.

Ok how about this one? Everything seems to be in good specs. Also for the port length, the .75 will be from a extra sheet I will place on the side with the port/sub.

Edit: Also this if I change the common port walls to 2 for a centered port, and change the hieght to 19" all the stats are identical except 2 which are off by .02

To be a standard L port with 3 common walls you need the port height to be 17.25"

No I don't, sub up port up, my port height is the depth of the box minus wood thickness.

Ok, check the port upward, sub upward then (guess nothing will change though).
