You should hear the sub on volume 1 which is waaaaaaaaay lower than the 2v max rating on the preout. I'm betting there is a wiring issue you are overlooking or a bad hu output. Try the speaker level inputs instead of the rca outputs. t-money Posted April 1, 2012 Report Share Posted April 1, 2012 the sub out/rear out setting pops up when the headunit is off. yea i have already been through that with him. he said it doesnt show up. im guessing cuz it has 3 sets of pre outs instead of just front and rear/sub.
