mgbadboyz
So while i got the money, im looking to put a system in my camaro. I posted awhile back but never made a decision on what i wanted. I ended up just putting 2 15's in my brothers truck and never worried about mine. So im back and looking for ideas. I got the cash now so thats really not an issue. Recommendations for possibly a 1-15" setup or 2-12" setup. Its a 95 camaro so remember trunk space is limited to the hole in the back. Im going to need Subs (brand/model/link) Amp (brand/model/link) Box (Any builders?) Im clueless on tuning a box. My goal is to have a system that will WOW you but not competition worthy. All input welcome!

BallzFast
i would do a ascendant audio mayhem or sundown Zv3 single 12" setup. a single sub will surprise you when done right. sundown saz3500 or powerbass xta-4000d amp ported box tuned to 30hz will wow you since you are not going for numbers. remember this is just my opinion take it for what it is worth. Budget depends. If i just do 1-15" im willing to spend a pretty penny on one nice sub. If i do 2-12's obviously that cuts the price of each sub in half compared to a 15. Im not looking to spend anymore than 600 alone on speakers. Btw, This isnt going to be my first setup. Far from it. Ive been stuck on small setups and hand me down setups for about 2 years now. I want something of my own that will hit. Im not new to it, i have ideas on what speakers im looking at but id rather get a couple "professional" opinions
Sheena
whats your amp budget? you will more than likely end up building the box yourself. a few of the members here provide great box designs for a little $. as for subs, its really hard to say. but two sundown audio SA-12s is a really nice option. skar audio Ascendant audio try looking here at the subs and see what you like.. all of those subs are very nice and will get you loud in the right box. mgbadboyz
Anyone have any problems with RE subs? My cousin runs 1 RE 12" in a camry and it drops. Amp budget is probably about 400, but a little over wont hurt i suppose. Like i said, moneys not to big of an issue. I can find the money if its worth it. Ballen194
As far as I'm concerned RE isn't what it used to be before it handed over ownership. I'd definitely recommend Skar though. Not just because that's what I'm bumpin but I can tell you for sure it will impress you on a decent budget Quote 98 Isuzu Rodeo Pioneer Deh-6300ub SUBS*Upcoming* SSA Xcon 18 4th order AMP Banda 3500 Mids/Highs Pioneer EQ Clarion EQS746 ETC.
