hotwheels
thanks for all the replies guys next up was getting the power cables into the roof and to keep with the truck theme we decided to model them on exhaust stacks but for safety reasons we used plastic pipe with a metal outer then covered with rolled mesh then we had to run power earth remotes and RCA's to all 8 amps in the roof for neatness we used 16 pairs of DLS right angled connectors @ £16 a pair ouch all wired up on the front side and the rear side off the board looks like this
hotwheels
we also decided to cover the rear off the sub box as i managed to buy a double amp cover from a Team DLS competitor and fitted it to the rear off the van for continuity but it looked wrong so managed to source another empty case that was in Germany and so we could keep it centered we had to saw in half this one and fitted

hotwheels
next up was replacing the subs as i was keeping the whole build DLS and using the rear subs in my SQ comps the RE's just wouldn't cut it so bought 4 x DLS Iridium's they don't looks as nice as the RE's up there but because i had moved up advanced class's the subs would need protection over them so they wouldn't be seen anyway but tbh it's all about the sound so and in then a grill was to be made.. so we simply asked the local picture framer to make me a frame no glass no backing ( same guy made the one for the processor ) then we used the same mesh as the stacks to complete the grill fitted and looking like this
