Renault trafic SQL Build from Scotland ...

Recommended Posts

after that we needed to fit volt meters in the rear and lighting switch's and the remote trigger switch for the amp that runs the

5" components in the rear as these are not used in SQ

so a hole was cut

and Brax was fitted one at each side as i need symmetry and also a little DLS badge just incase anyone forgot

then a trim for around the old window opening on the bulk head was fabricated stained then griled with grill cloth to keep the rear secret from anyone

looking through the front glass while still letting the bass into the cabin

I like the configuration of the front seats! Have your girl sit right next to you giving you a little sumthing while going down the road ;)

The very special piece i mentioned yesterday started out like this

Screenshot2010-03-01at084348.png

which was the blue print for a One Off Custom rug for the rear off the van ( just for show days ) i must add

the rug was commissioned by one off the guys on Talkaudio uk our forum here , and was hand made on the borders off India

it took 3 months from drawings to delivery at was so worth the wait but please don't ask what i paid for this as I'm taking that info to my grave

and if the wife ever finds out that may come sooner than expected lol

anyway here's the pics i give you the DLS rug

but even the rug meant we had to modify the van to accept it as because off the thickness off the pile around the edges the rug ended up being 1" to wide so it was back

to the drawing board and we got these made again in stainless steel

then it was a case of trimming down the boxes over the wheel arches

but we had a little disaster along the way the weight off the roof tore the rear mountings down the weight up there is near 200lbs

and while hitting a hole in the road the roof bent down

241020101402.jpg

241020101404.jpg

so we welded up a couple off stainless steel supports to stop this happening again
