stephen15 Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 I have the same problem with my Level 4 15 inch sub, i emailed Rusty hoping i can send it in and he can fix it, I dont want to fix it myself and have it last for 1 month then have to turn around and fix it again Quote

windowtinter Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 Like cj said its caused by clipping. turn the gain down a lil recone or fix it up which ever you want add an extra lead to whatever which way you go. problem SHOULD be solved. Quote
windowtinter Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 Just to make it clear evey sub i have fixed this way is still going to this day. as a matter of fact i took orion hcca tinsel leads out from a blown cone and put them into a lvl 4/5 coil combo that was an older sub that only had one set that sub has been the same way for right aroubd a year now and shows no sign of a problem. YOUR RESULTS MAY VARY!!! But it can be done and last if your in a money/time pinch. Quote
