My girl is rushing me now! I cant catch a break. Does this look good is there anything you would do different. I am all ears so please let me know what you would do

I changed port length to 16.25 and added .6 for displacement and the net is 5.02 and Hz is 37.67

you still dont even have enough port area. and the box is too big. thats big enough for an 18 for god sakes.

do 4.5cuft at 36-37. 16 square inches of port per cubic foot.

and it says right there the tuning is 36, not 37. and the box is 5.6cuft, not 5. i have no idea where you're getting these numbers from.

try these numbers in torres calc to see if thats closer to DD's specs has to sound better than what you already built

sub up...port back

box dims...16h..37w..24d

port dims...14.5h..5w...19L

.6 sub displacement

3 common port walls

37.11hz....4.97net volume...14.59port per cubic foot

ports up subs back for 2 12's in this tahoe doesnt sound good. I would like for everything to fire back so it has no choice put to come forward. I think that is a good design though just with subs back too

sub up port back is DIFFERENT than sub back port up. i dont know why you would ever do sub back port up in an suv.

LOL that was a typo...Subs back port up is dumb really really dumb, my bad..I want to go subs and port back so the waves have no choice but to go up front."2" 12's just isnt moving enough air to fire them off of the roof(IMHO).

5 cubic feet 36-40Hz 80 square inches of port area. And the displacement of the DD2512 is 0,172 cubic feet not 0,3.

The displacement listed may be of an older version.

okay whats really pissing me off is that no one is listening to a word anyone else is saying.

the displacement of a 2512 is .09 cu ft.

since we're going by the DD website for box specs (2.5 cu ft per driver) we should go by the DD website for the 2512 specs (.09 cu ft)

Ok one more time before I start glueing and rounding edges. I have decided from looking at DD charts that this box might be pretty nice. Please again you 're opinions matter thats why I am asking. What would you guys do or do you think this will sound sick...40Hzbox.png

The DD site says 5.00^ft (3) 10" or (2) 12" or (1) 15" or 18" 80.0 sq" vent x 18" long

edit:lol serious though

Ok so set your driver displacement correctly that .6.088 may start more bad news for you.
