What's A 3 Sixty?

Hey all. A few really, really newb questions. As you all might know I'm new to car audio but very, very interested so ...

1) I believe it's made by RF, the 3Sixty; what is it, how does it improve your system, etc? I've read about it somewhere but it, somehow, didn't help.

2) So I have come to realize some amps are "mono" and some are multi-channeled. Why is this? Just makes it easier to route to multiple subs and/or a huge amount of power can't come through one cable?

3) So what; exactly; is an ohm? I realize it's something to do with impedence or resistance, but why do we want them or don't want them? I realize this is stupid but you gotta start somewhere!

A multi channel amp is basically just to run more than one speaker oftenly used for powering mid bass speaker tweeter things like that a 3sixty is a signal processor and an ohm is a measurment you just have tomake sure that you subs ohm level is ok with what your amp puts out at that ohm level

1) the 3sixty.1 and 3sixty.2 are signal processors. the best out on the market right now. they allow u to tune the frequencies for your speakers so they only hit the ones u want them to hit. perfect sound quality

2)multi channel amps allow for side to side sound. mono amps will produce the same sound for all the speakers attached to it. multi channel amps can see a difference between left and right and front and back on some

3)ohms are a measure of impedance as u said b4. lower impedances are easier to get more power to. for SPL the lower the impedance the better cause power is better.

so like for a 3 sixty that can change the frequencies ...

how do you change the power to your subs? so like i know head units often have sub adjustments but really fast .. like in steves hoe when i was in it he had litlte controls to his right of the seat that made it loudr .. thos juts "remote controls" for the amp?>

yes. he has 4 amps, but they're all linked, so he only needs one knob going to the main amp so it controls all 4.
