Some people piss me off about wheels and tires

Recommended Posts

Jay, truck looks sick with those rims on it...clean as hell.

Jeff, you're definitely right on the racial thing over the profession thing for sure. Most "professionals" I know drive very plain cars....tan malibu's and shit like that.

No matter what kind of car or truck the rims are on someone will always say it looks stupid if their big.I don't know why people just cant keep their mouths shut when they don't like something instead of running their mouths about it.As a matter of fact I remember someone on this forum when I first joined dogging a picture of a Tahoe on 30's saying it looked stupid because it would look better lifted with some big ol swamp tires on it for mudding........Really mudding? Okay you go spend $40,000 on a truck and then take it mudding but you called that guy with the big rims stupid for keeping his shit clean.Go kill yourself haters.

O hey there. Mudding anybody? Lol, and no, my Jeep is no $40,000 truck...more like $4000. But mudding is fun. I like both kinds of rims as long as they fit the theme of the ride. Lifted = Bigger tire, smaller rim, no more than 20". Stock or lowered cars look great with bigger rims tho. Alpha your truck is SICK. And a damn nice system too. But even if I don't like the look of the wheels of someone elses car, I don't try and start anything by insulting it or throwing race into it.

 Old pictures, but I'm probably going to go back up and have a lil' fun. Kept my truck too clean for too long.

I'm probably going to get a nice set of 20's on mine, nothing too flashy, just something nice that I can stick some good all-purpose tires on, like I have now. (Just some cheap Bridgestone's that I had put on because my other set were treadless & I woke up to one flat...Didn't do too bad offroad for no tread though

@OP Aside from it being a Ford, it looks nice, rims are bit big IMHO but they look nice in those wells. Mad props man.

POTATO!

Thanks guys, and don't get me wrong I love the mudding thing too, I grew up in the country. I just don't like taking a newer truck and mudding. I wouldn't mind a jeep or old 2 door tahoe and jack it up and put maybe some 33's or 35's on it and have some fun.

Where I lived as a kid if you told someone you had 22"s he'd laugh at you, say his truck has 44" Super Swampers. Then you tell him it's the rim size and his jaw hits the ground. Oh and now that I live in the 920, if you see someone with rims he's probably a packer player.
