Actually the stances scene is to go with 17"-20" but wide rims so the fit flush with the fenders. The just stretch the tires for clearance.

I'll be going either 17's or 18's and 9 in wide rim.

that's weird I have seen 17x9.5 ie corvette sawblades and they fit even with spacers. Jut have to find the correct offset.

I'm not worrying to much about it lots to do before rim choice. Like new paint and leather I have a big rip in the drivers seat.
