Need Some Tv Help

Recommended Posts

My mom is lookin to get 40-42" HD LCD TV, about 1200$ spending limit not including the surround sound package. Just wondering what are the best brands to be looking at? She seems to like sony but I'm not sure if thats the best. There are also Toshiba, Samsung and LG to choose from, its probably gunna be bought from Cosco, Best Buy or Future shop. Thanks for the help!

Ps, she needs to get it in the next two days

I have a toshiba (56") lcd its a DLP and the only downside to it is every couple years you will have to buy a new bulb for it which is like 300.00. But I know the Vizios are real good tv's for being new.
