Also, for home use, I picked up this little lepai 20 watt 2 channel amp. Beats the hell out of my old 1980's realistic 8 ohm reciever that buzzed. And these. Got these things for 9 bucks a piece on sale! I love Parts express! Gonna do a downfiring box for home use. The Pyle products, despite what most would think, don't sound bad. I took a short ~1hour fiddle session with all of the gear just to get an Idea of how things will sound. They surprised me. The 8's sound great, and the 6's are awesome (though I had one set already and tested them). The tweeters are going to need some doctoring, but they're crisp and clear on only 15 watts or so. I can't wait to get everything installed. As for the plans for the corolla, gonna hold off on anything major like the wall or 18's. I'm still making payments to Orionstang on his SP4's. Need to find a commuter car to get me back and forth to school, and I'll save the money for the engine and new wall in the corolla. As for now, I figured I'd get the doors done since that doesn't cost a whole lot of money, and they can be finished in a matter of days. My Channel on YouTube. Like APS said, I'll be gutting the actual door panels to leave enough space for the motors of the 6's since one of them will be almost hit the seat. But everything is looking good so far. Got family coming over today for Football so I doubt I'll get much done, but tomorrow I can hit up the Junkyards to find some door panels to get started! My Channel on YouTube. Just the preliminary steps, but tomorrow I can hit it full force early in the morning and hopefully have everything done and Possibly wrapped. Shells Used under armour type material this time. My goal for my build was to do hair tricks with a single 15 for a trunk build and i have done it.
