blcrocker
Would this be good box for an HDC3 15? Sergeant_Skyrim
No. Net box space too big and port area/net cubic feet too small. Could easily fix this by adjusting either width or depth and making either smaller. EDIT: You want somewhere around 16 square inches of port area per net cubic foot though. So if you reduce the depth/width of box to make it around suggested specs for that 15 (I don't personally know) and you still haven't hit that number then try changing the port width to 3.5 or 4 maybe. blcrocker
Alright so I changed my width to 25 giving me exactly 4 cubes after displacement and port width is now 4.2 and length is 23. Port area per foot is now 16.27^2. Joe X
And your tuning is 37.14Hz, for a port/sub front or back you are good now, you can go up to 4.5 cubes net if you wanted.
RAM_Designs
~4.5ft^3 with a 33-35hz tuning and 60-70in^2 of port works great in most vehicles with the HDC, assuming you're using the copper coil option.
