Went down to the store just now and my woofers started stinking. Everything is clear as far as tuning with the DD-1 @ -10db's. Im wondering if some of my lower quality music(192 bitrate) could cause distortion VS a song at 320 bitrate.

I think it does. I've downloaded a few bass boosted songs that were clipped. I would turn the gain down a tad an see if it helps. But I would stay away froms songs like that.

Nvm, yea I always try to get my songs in 320 especially if I'm screwing it or stuff.

It can... depends on the song, lower quality songs can have more distortion in them.

Not too sure how to check if a song has clipping. Dont have a clipping led on my knob.

a program called Audacity can show you the clipping in songs
