big dee
Is it the Brutus or hi-fi series? Hi-fi sucks and won't do rated power. I like the older Brutus modals. I had a few and there beast! Gotta have good electrical to hold them tho.

Joe X
Look for a CEA certified amp, usually stock electrical will tolerate 1KW sub system, better with a 80-90A alt, you may want to check your electrical to be in good condition though. cg2694
i got a 2002 dodge stratus Quote 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited Pioneer deh7200 hd speakers are stock for now Rockford Fosgate t2500 Fi Sp4 15 fully loaded xs power
kandiman71874
Largest alt available on a 2002 Stratus was a 120 amp and that was only on the version with the 2.7l v6 and the DOHC 2.4L. Assuming we're going with the norm here that your car needs a minimum if 30 amps to run while driving as long as you aren't driving at night and with the a/c or heat on, with that amp, your power source is already tapped out and you are now floating off of the battery power only while yer beating down the road full tilt. So, yeah, a decent size alt, a good battery and the usual electrical upgrades would be a good thing to have. Electrical overkill is never a bad thing when it comes to an alternator. It keeps it from having to work so hard to generate what is needed and will help extend its life. if you figure your max consumption will be around 200 amps, look for a 250-270 amp alt to handle your new electrical requirements. By the way, the other stratus models all have smaller alts then the one with the 2.7 . Like 25% smaller Edited April 12, 2012 by kandiman71874 Quote Daily Driver 1999 Kia Sephia Kenwood DNX-893s Audison Bit One Processor 2 Dat 4.125's Sundown Audio SCV-6k Hertz hsk-165xl's Mids running active Focal V30 Series Tweeters running active Sundown Sa-8 v1's in the doors 2 Sundown Zv5 12's Lots of Hushmat Big 3+ and 3 + & 3- runs of Trystar 2/0 2 Dc Power Engineering 320 HP Alts 2017 Comp Vehicle 2006 Toyota 4 Runner Kenwood Excelon DNX-893s Audison Bit One HD DSP 4 Sundown Sa 6.5v2 Component Sets Focal Access 6.5 2 ways Sundown Audio Sax-50.4 Sundown Audio Sax-100.4 2 Dc Power 370xp Northstar agm27f Northstar agm65 2 Northstar asmagm 480's 2 Dual 1 Sundown Nightshade v3 12's 2 Sundown SCV-7500's All SMD Fuse Holders Shitload Of Sundown 1/0 120 sq ft Second Skin Damp Pro No, Its Not A Burp Truck!!!! 2016 Season 3rd place in Xtreme 1 At Finals 2016 Season 6th Place In Kaos 1 At Finals ( Blew The Subs Up In First Round Eliminations) 2 Kansas State Records Set In 2016 In Xtreme 1 And Kaos 1 In Midwest SPL David said: audio is a lifestyle, not a hobby newls1 I cant read a tape to save my life... 1/2's are ok, but other marks confuse me kingsuv only men who cant read a tape, take it in the ass kingsuv you sir, get a pink hard hat on jobsites

captainhook426
start getting quotes from reputable alternator companies and you'll get a good ball park of an idea. $150 ish for wire depending on how much you actually need. $250 to $350 for a decent battery (multiplied by 2 to be safe). Another $50 is for loose odds and ends, connectors fuse holders etc. Quote Next time she tries to punch you in the stomach, whip your wiener out and chase her around. Show her who's boss.
