and the port and speaker placement is differnt from yours the pic b gots has the sups over the port yours are 90 degress from the port

maybe you should read what alpine wrote above me. maybe you should move your subs to the other end of the box might get louder.

Power bro more power. ask Alpine and Joey. Thats one factor that got the VW over 150's was power. Not this past weekend but in the past. The VW has done the 149.9 class.

Box + Power + Perfect Start = 149.9 (possibly)

its all about the start. if you start 2 late unless you can do 156+ on music youll never get to 149.9

ask christian and jack they'll tell you the same thing

I know my greatest downfall right now is electrical power. I can drop down to the 12s after 5-10 seconds on music. I have the batteries to back up the amp but I need more then a 200A alternator to keep them charged. Some things will be changed in time. I’m focused on door speakers for right now then ill move on to more bass down the road. Thanks for the tip though mayne

well my 300 amp irragi holds up fint to 2 6500's and i had 4 batcap 200's. didnt drop from 14.4 AT ALL. but i did pay 479 for my alternator plus shipping

its all about the start. if you start 2 late unless you can do 156+ on music youll never get to 149.9

The 49 class is all about giving everything you got from the start, then smoothing it out at the end. if you have to. If you start too late or too hot at the start, your done.

I agree with Bill, IF you don't get that perfect start, you are done, UNLESS you can do a 155 in bassrace and catch up.

Most of the time I will agree with Brandon, I may be the exception since I am tuned so low and musical ( tuned to 35 ). I can only burp a 150.5 windows sealed up DB drag style, and Can bassrace a 149.4 all sealed up at the dash. But for MOST people, the burp and Bassrace score are much further apart than 1 db.

Makes you think about these nifty low tuned boxes, huh . I am still WAY behind others like Jack. JACK did a 150.8 Bassrace all sealed up. MAD PROPS JACK
